Project Description: Conversion of a 1960’s office tower to residential units. The conversion included the reshaping of the façade, modifications to the core and the transferring out of several columns in the lower levels.
MEC’s role: Concept review and documentation review. Our review included value engineering in discussion with Mirvac and their consultants for the project Arup.
We are consulting engineers providing structural engineering services, maritime engineering services and civil engineering services. Our structural engineering services encompass a wide range of building types including residential, office, educational, industrial and public buildings. Our maritime engineering services encompass jetties, wharves and seawalls. Our civil engineering services encompass earthworks, stormwater and sewer drainage, catchment studies and road pavements. We are the developers of MacroSpan, a lightweight structural system for long span roofs and demountable structures.
